Description

The youth organization of the SPD are the Jusos (Jungsozialisten in der SPD, Young Socialists in the SPD). From 1945-1961 they used a flag of their own: red background, a man's silhouette in white, holding over his head a white flag with the red letters 'SPD'. From 1961 onwards the Jusos used the flag of the SPD. However, they introduced an own flag again, probably in the 1970's, showing on a red background a white hand holding a rose and the lettering 'JUSOS'.
